Launch at Modern Art Oxford of 'Hither and Thither', Portuguese artist Gabriela Albergaria's book of trees. Albergaria undertook a residency at the Oxford Botanic Gardens in 2010, creating an artist's book of the Garden's trees and an installation at the Harcourt Arboretum. She will be in conversation with British artist Rob Kesseler who completed a similar residency with the Plant Development Group at the Gulbenkian Institute of Science in Lisbon. This inter-disciplinary exchange initiative was inspired by International Year of Biodiversity 2010 and was supported by the Calouste Gulbenkian Foundaton.
